The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce is the third largest
business organization north of Sacramento, a
regional Chamber, representing around 650 businesses and their 17,000 employees
in Marysville, Yuba City, Wheatland, Live Oak,
and other towns in the counties of Yuba and Sutter, California.
The goal of the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce is to focus
on its four core competencies; business retention and expansion, community
building, legislative advocacy, and membership services.
Business Retention and Expansion - creating a strong local economy

Shop Local activities - festivals, media campaigns, educational efforts

Create and maintain the area's tourism website, visityubasutter , for visitor and community event information

Multiple tourism/visitor related publications
created, maintained, updated and re-printed including a Farmstands Tour , a Historic
Marysville Walking Tour, a Historic Homes of Yuba City Tour , a tourism video , and a Historic Lankmarks and Sites brochure , distributed by
the thousands throughout the region and across the country

Partnerships, affiliations, and lead role in
startup of organizations formed to specialize in economic development including
the Yuba Sutter Economic Development
Corporation and the Yuba
College Small Business
Development Center.

Workforce
Development Awards program - the Chamber has been granting from $13-$20
thousand in cash awards annually to those intending to improve their skills and
work in the Yuba-Sutter area.

The Chamber's membership dues in the Yuba-Sutter-Colusa Employer Advisory
Council keep that organization operating, and membership extends to
Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce members.
